Your collages are doubtless playfully piquant and brilliant. What is the inner b sentiment that moves you during the creative process (on top of having fun)?
I’m really glad you’re enjoying my collages, thank you so much, it truly means a lot to me. When I started this page, I had no idea how photoshop worked and where I wanted to go with it. But I’ve always loved women, specially 60’s pin up, with their different shapes and natural sexiness. While looking for images, I discovered a whole world of weird vintage porn and found that it tend to be a bit too extreme and violent sometimes. I like to think that my collages gives a new, softer approach to erotism. But honestly, I’m mainly just having a lot of fun.
What your works evoke to you when you look at them?
I don’t specially look at them once they’re done and posted. I’m really insecure and judgmental about my work or whatever that I do. If I’m thinking about it, I’d say they are… a mix of funny weird and naughtiness and I hope that the people watching them are enjoying this. 🙂
I have picked up some of your collages that trilled me, and I consider erotically smart…what would you define as “erotic” in your mind?
I think that erotism is a form of contemplation of sensuality and sexual desire. I really like playing with this while working on a collage.
Where do you mainly pick up your subjects and how do you usually compose your works? It starts from a feeling, a concept…or do you get inspired while looking for prints and images?
I’m digging google to find vintage erotic/porn pictures. I don’t think I have any process, I’m usually just looking for images that I find beautiful and start from that. I’m also a huge fan of vintage sci-fi and seeing « the attack of the 50 foot woman » when I was a kid made me love giant women.
Do you like to listen to anything while you are creating? If so, can you give us any name or music genre?
I’m always listening to music while working on something. Music has a huge part in my life, I’m always trying to find new things, new shows, new everything. One of my favorites band ever is Other Lives, an independent American rock band. I think most of my first collages were made while listening to their last album. They have a really unique atmosphere, really movie like. Other than that, I discovered this amazing web radio called Radio Paradise and listen to it as much as I can. (Shazaming it every 5 min ahah) If you want any cool bands name, I’d say… José Gonzalez, War on drugs, Agnès Obel, Alt-j… I could go on and on and on, do not tempt me! ahah…
